Find suitable slot for new item code in control file. Add item number,description,type,site,um,promo group, product line, status, group,variant code etc.
Create new item in QAD using Item Master Maintenance menu.
Alternate Unit of measure
Update alternate unit of measure in control file.
Create unit of measure in QAD using Unit of Measure maintenance menu.
Sales Price Master
Create a new line for the new item. Update retail price, trade price, VAT price.
Update price using Tea – Item Price Maintenance menu.
For IAL Vat will be 0. For Tea & IFL Vat will be 15%.
BOM Updation
BOM updation only need for tea items which product line is T2L1(Blend Tea) or T3L1 (Packed Tea).
Add BOM in Product Structure tab in control file.
Upload BOM file named osbom in load drive. Update BOM in QAD using the osbom.p script. Or manually add the line by line using Product Structure Maintenance in QAD.
Cost Roll Up
Use Product Structure Cost Roll-Up menu for cost updating in QAD.
