{"id":201,"date":"2021-01-11T17:08:49","date_gmt":"2021-01-11T11:08:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/itllive.com\/knowledgebase\/?p=201"},"modified":"2021-01-13T12:31:56","modified_gmt":"2021-01-13T06:31:56","slug":"po-cancellation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/itllive.com\/knowledgebase\/2021\/01\/11\/po-cancellation\/","title":{"rendered":"How to Cancel\/Close a Purchase Order"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Case 1: Purchase Order Receipt is not done<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"has-background\">\n<li>If not received, go thru by lines using <strong>Purchase Order Maintenance<\/strong> menu.<\/li>\n<li>Select End lines then trailer.<\/li>\n<li>Set status field &#8216;X&#8217;<\/li>\n<li>Select PO revision- no.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Case 2: Purchase Order Fully or Partially Received<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If the Order is partially or fully received, then first check if it has Memo or Inventory items. First the receipt stock has to be returned to supplier. In case of Memo items, it is not required to have inventory of the receipt items for making return.
